Hi, I'm writing from Idaho where I'm vacationing with my children and grandchildren. I came here directly from Oaxaca and have been following the developments in Oaxaca and San Miguel de Allende since my arrival, and have been in regular contact with both areas of Mexico. Yesterday I spoke with the Rotarians from San Miguel de Allende about their recent fair to publicize the Ecocina and the new factory there. It was a huge success and they have received interest not only from individuals but from various municipalities. In addition, they have a new order for 100 stoves from the area near Colima where we are hoping to start another factory. They also have interest from some people in Veracruz. News from Oaxaca continues to be good and they are going to speak directly with the people in San Miguel to see how everything works. I love the collaboration of various factory owners and developers as they are the ones who have "feet on the ground" and can really tell others how to best proceed. The news from Copan Ruinas Honduras is that Anibal, the factory owner, will be traveling to San Miguel in late August to analyze how things are going with their factory and give any needed advice or suggestions. The November trip to Copan Ruinas is now full of eager volunteers so we are getting everything in order. I will be giving speeches in the San Francisco Bay Area in late November, so if you would like me to stop by and check in with your or your Rotary Club, please let me know! Nancy
