Today was rather disappointing workwise for several reasons. #1: The generator that Maco rented to run the welding equipment didn't put out enough juice, and the closest one that's adequate is in Guatemala City. Supposedly it's being sent our way for tomorrow. So that put one work crew out of work. Next the sheet metal that was supposed to arrive between 9:30 and 10 for the painting crew didn't arrive until 3:30. And last, we didn't have the cement that we needed to build the rock wall until about 2, so until then we did a lot of weeding, shoveling, etc. But then we really blitzed on the rock wall. Rumor has it that real electricity may be brought to the site tomorrow.
